This post just took the words right outta my head. Wonderful look at the reality going on in the brain of someone (myself included) with a mental illness who’s brain has, as the author wrote, “…an inability to process things when they get to be too much for me to handle.” She talks about her physical senses being overwhelmed and I notice mine do the same thing, esp. with noise. Too much or too loud and I can hear you, but the words do not make any sense.

If you are someone with a healthy mind, I encourage you to read this post because you might think we are just being selfish, but the truth is we have little or no control over our reactions when this type of thing happens.

Let’s end the stigma.
Live and learn.
