In the quietness of dusk I sit and come to You.
Thoughts and fears torment my mind;
Try to unsettle my soul.
Afar in the dark, lights blink, reminding me that I cannot see all,
But what is black to me is white to You.
Your creation all around me,
Stirs the hearth within my soul,
And peace rises up through me like smoke through the chimney.
The soft caress of a faint breeze feels like Your arms around me
And reminds me I am whole.
